SAPS spends time at Heidelberg Public School
The staff and principal appreciated the valuable information shared with the learners.
Members of Heidelberg SAPS, accompanied by the Lesedi local municipality traffic department and the Department of Education, recently visited Heidelberg Public School in Jordaan Park.
The visitors discussed various topics with the learners, including bullying, substance abuse, human trafficking, school safety and road safety.
“The school warmly welcomed us, and the engagement with the learners was very positive,” said Constable Doris Nkosi, the Heidelberg SAPS corporate communications officer.
“The staff and principal appreciated our efforts to remind the learners about their safety in school and our ability to protect them from harm caused by bullying,” she added.
