Nigel Rugby Club gears up for round two of Valke Peregrine League

Nigel has shown resilience in the face of tough competition and enters round two with renewed determination.

Round two of the Valke Peregrine League kicks off this weekend, June 28, with Nigel Rugby Club set to travel to NWU in Vanderbijlpark for their first fixture of the round.

In their previous encounter with NWU during round one, Nigel narrowly lost 38 – 35 in a closely contested match.
The second team will take to the field at 14:40, followed by the first team at 16:00.

Despite facing strong opposition, the team has maintained its determination and refused to back down.

The first round has been a valuable learning curve for the club. The experience gained and the shift in mindset are expected to make Nigel more competitive in the second round, earning them renewed respect from rival teams.

• July 5: Bye

• July 12: vs Springs (away)

• July 19: vs Benoni (home)
