GR Landmark, part of the Essential Group, hosted its fifth Annual Market Day on November 1, drawing in dozens of suppliers and local customers for a day of specials, giveaways, and community spirit.

Owner Kobus Roux said the event has grown significantly over the years and continues to play an important role in connecting customers directly with product suppliers.

“This is our fifth market day, we invite our suppliers to come and engage with customers. This year we had more than 65 suppliers participating . Each one offered great specials and unique promotions for the day, and many brought along prizes and free gifts to give away,” said Roux.

The event featured both indoor and outdoor exhibitions, with suppliers showcasing a wide range of products and explaining their features to customers.

Participating companies included INCO, Tour Craft, Protek, and Promac Paints, among others.

Roux said the market day is designed to benefit both customers and suppliers.

“This day is all about value. Customers get one-day only specials they will not find again, and suppliers get to build stronger relationships with the people who use their products. Visitors also get the opportunity to enter a holiday giveaway competition, with several lucky draws taking place throughout the day,” he explained.

Roux expressed gratitude to the community for their continued support despite current challenges.

“I want to thank our loyal customers, our suppliers, and the community who joined us today. The weather and the economy have both been tough this year, but we have worked hard to negotiate with suppliers to keep prices affordable and ensure we maintain strong business relationships,” he added.
