All reservoirs stable as Lesedi Municipality reports good water supply
Lesedi Local Municipality says water supply remains stable across Heidelberg, Rensburg and surrounding areas, with reservoir levels holding steady.
Residents within the Lesedi Local Municipality can breathe a sigh of relief as the municipality has confirmed that the local water supply remains stable across all areas.
In its latest water status update issued on March 9, the municipality reported that reservoir levels remain healthy and that all communities are currently receiving water.
According to the update, the intake pressure supplied by Rand Water is currently 300 kPa, supporting stable distribution across the municipal network.
Reservoir levels across the municipality are also satisfactory. The Heidelberg Command Reservoir and Rensburg Reservoir are both sitting at 60% capacity, while the Emmasdal Reservoir has reached 90% capacity.
Residents are kindly reminded to use water sparingly to ensure that the supply remains stable for all communities, and those experiencing water-related issues are encouraged to contact the municipal call centre for assistance.
