Chance Children’s Home and Nurturing Nurturing Centre to host AGM

The community is invited to the Chance Children’s Home AGM on May 9 to hear how the centre is uplifting local children.

The board of directors and management of Chance Children’s Home and Nurturing Centre in Dunnottar invite the community to attend its AGM on May 9.

Centre Manager Esmeralda McDonald said the meeting will serve as a platform to reflect on the organisation’s work over the past year, report on progress made, and outline the centre’s future direction as it continues to support vulnerable children in Heidelberg, Nigel, and surrounding areas.

“This gathering is important for the community we serve. It’s a chance to share the challenges we have faced, the milestones we have reached, and where we are headed. Most importantly, it’s about showing that together we can keep building a safe, nurturing environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive, she said.

McDonald added that community presence and support are vital to the centre’s mission and encouraged residents to attend.

The AGM starts at 10:00 at the home, located at the corner of Vlakfontein and Nigel roads.
