Bertha Gxowa Primary School celebrates top foundation phase learners in Ratanda

Hard work and dedication were rewarded as Ratanda Bertha Gxowa Primary School honoured its top-performing Foundation Phase learners and Grade R pupils during a special achievement celebration.

Ratanda Bertha Gxowa Primary School recently celebrated the outstanding achievements of its Foundation Phase learners by honouring the top 10 achievers in each class, along with the school’s Grade R learners.

The celebration was made possible through the support and generosity of Sausalito Spur Steak Ranch, which helped make the occasion memorable for the young learners.

The school commended the learners for their hard work, dedication and positive attitudes throughout the academic term, saying their determination and enthusiasm for learning continue to inspire both teachers and parents.

Deputy principal Magauta Motloung praised the learners for their commitment and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.

“We are extremely proud of our learners and the effort they continue to put into their schoolwork from such a young age.

“Recognising their achievements motivates them to keep working hard and reminds them that dedication and discipline always pay off. These young learners are the future leaders of our community, and it is important for us to encourage and celebrate them while building their confidence and love for education,” she said.

Motloung also thanked the educators and parents for their continued support in helping the learners succeed academically.

“Education is a partnership between teachers, parents and learners,” she added.

“When we work together, we create an environment where children are able to grow, dream bigger and reach their full potential,” she said.
