The Nigel SPCA is appealing to community members to consider adopting cats and dogs currently awaiting forever homes.

The Nigel SPCA is urging residents to consider adopting cats and dogs currently in its care, as the shelter continues its efforts to find loving homes for animals in need.

According to the organisation, adopting a pet not only provides a second chance for an animal but also helps ease pressure on the shelter by creating space for other animals in need of care and protection.

Residents interested in welcoming a new pet into their homes can contact the Nigel SPCA via WhatsApp on 084 485 7029 or 084 485 7020 during office hours.

The shelter’s office hours are from 09:00 to 16:00, Monday to Thursday, and from 09:00 to 12:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.
