The Heidelberg community is mourning the passing of well-known businessman, entrepreneur, and longtime resident Peter Munro (52) who died on June 26.

Munro, the owner of P Munro Transport, built a business widely recognised for its reliability, hard work, and integrity.

Through his commitment to the transport industry, he earned the respect of clients, colleagues, and competitors alike, while also forming strong professional and personal relationships across Heidelberg and surrounding areas.

Beyond his business success, Munro was regarded as a familiar and respected figure in the community.
