Heidelberg HC Ladies hold firm in top three after hard-fought OB Stompers clash
The Heidelberg HC Ladies continue their impressive LPRO League campaign, sitting third on the table after a challenging encounter against OB Stompers at St Dominics. With seven wins from nine matches, 32 goals scored and a five-match winning streak, Heidelberg remain firmly in the title conversation as the season enters its decisive stage.
The Heidelberg Hockey Club Ladies continued to cement their place among the LPRO League’s top teams after completing another demanding fixture against OB Stompers at St Dominics on June 28.
Although the match presented one of the side’s toughest challenges of the season, Heidelberg entered the encounter in outstanding form, having established themselves as one of the league’s leading contenders.
After nine league matches, Heidelberg HC Ladies occupy third place on the LPRO League standings with an impressive 21 points from seven victories and two defeats.
The side has scored 32 goals while conceding just 13, giving them a healthy goal difference of 19. Their remarkable run of five consecutive league victories also underlines the consistency that has defined their campaign.
Only unbeaten log leaders Naledi Hornets (27 points) and second-placed Backstixx Venus (24 points) sit above Heidelberg, highlighting the club’s emergence as one of the strongest teams in the competition.
