According to the municipality, the visit is intended to help identify appropriate interventions and sustainable solutions to infrastructure and service delivery challenges.

The engagement comes as communities in Lesedi continue to experience concerns around basic municipal services, particularly water supply.

The involvement of the provincial government and Rand Water is expected to strengthen efforts to address these challenges through coordinated interventions.
