Support Heidelberg SPCA’s Women’s Month fundraiser and win a handcrafted clay sculpture
The Heidelberg SPCA is celebrating Women’s Month by honouring the women who dedicate themselves to animal welfare.
The Heidelberg SPCA is marking Women’s Month by celebrating the dedicated women who play a vital role in caring for abandoned, neglected and vulnerable animals in the community.
As part of its Women’s Month campaign, the organisation has launched a fundraising initiative that offers members of the public a chance to win a unique, handcrafted clay sculpture while supporting the SPCA’s animal welfare work.
For a minimum donation of R30, participants will be entered into the competition to win the one-of-a-kind sculpture.
The fundraiser aims to recognise the commitment of the SPCA’s female staff members and volunteers, who dedicate their time and effort to caring for animals in need.
Funds raised through the initiative will assist the Heidelberg SPCA with the ongoing costs of providing food, shelter, warmth and veterinary care to animals in its care.
Members of the public can enter by making an EFT donation to Heidelberg SPCA FNB Current Account: 62121919156 Reference: Clay + cellphone number.
Donations can also be made in cash or by card at the Heidelberg SPCA office or the Tails & Treasures charity shop.
The SPCA is encouraging residents to support the initiative, saying that every contribution, regardless of its size, makes a difference for the animals relying on the organisation for care and protection.
For supporters living outside the area, the organisation has indicated it will arrange courier delivery of the prize if the winner is far from Heidelberg.
The initiative provides an opportunity for the community to celebrate Women’s Month while supporting the Heidelberg SPCA and helping provide vulnerable animals with a second chance.
