Suikerbosoord Heidelberg joins the SAVF family
The organisation supports facilities that struggle to function independently, enabling them to access available infrastructure.
Heidelberg, Gauteng SAVF is proud to announce that Suikerbosoord in Heidelberg has officially become part of the SAVF family, following the successful completion of all processes and agreements between the parties.
This milestone represents another important step in SAVF’s vision of creating sustainable futures for care facilities while ensuring that residents, staff and volunteers continue to receive the support they need.
SAVF Suikerbosoord is the third facility since 2024 to join the SAVF family, following the integration of SAVF Cosmos in Vandykspark and SAVF Princess Home in Pretoria.
Strength through unity
Across South Africa, many facilities face increasing operational, financial, administrative and governance pressures when attempting to function independently. SAVF’s strategic direction provides an alternative, enabling facilities to access the strength, expertise and infrastructure of a national organisation while continuing to serve their local communities.
Through SAVF National Office’s shared services, facilities can access support in areas such as governance, finance, human resources, marketing, information technology, compliance and strategic management.
SAVF CEO Adriaan Raubenheimer says the growing interest from facilities wanting to work with SAVF demonstrates the value of collaboration.
