Charity golf day for Friends of Marievale around the bend
The volunteer group that supports the Marievale Nature Reserve is raising funds through a golf day.
The Friends of Marievale golf day is coming up soon and will be held at the Nigel Golf Club on Old Springs Road on October 16 to raise funds for maintenance and conservation efforts at the Marievale Nature Reserve.
“This is an excellent opportunity to promote your business and be associated with this worthy cause in this influential reserve,” said Johan Janse van Rensburg of the Friends.
A hole or fourball (IPS) can be sponsored, which includes a meal for four players at the halfway house, display of your company details at the sponsored hole, the opportunity to distribute marketing material, and a special mention during the prize-giving ceremony.
Cash donations are also available, and all proceeds will go towards upgrading facilities on the Reserve.
