Family appeals for help to find missing Heidelberg man

Police and family members are searching for 24-year-old Sibusiso Enoch Mngemezulu, who has been missing since September.

Heidelberg police and the family of 24-year-old Sibusiso Enoch Mngemezulu are appealing for information following his disappearance.

Mngemezulu’s father opened a missing person case after family members were unable to contact him.

The family became aware of his disappearance on September 15, when Mngemezulu’s mother told his father that she had not heard from their son.

Family members visited Heidelberg Hospital, where Mngemezulu worked as a security guard, but were informed that he had not reported for duty.

They also visited a property in Ratanda where they believed he was residing. The landlord informed them that Mngemezulu had moved out in July and that his current address was unknown.

Police confirmed that all relevant role players were alerted after the case was opened.

Searches conducted at local hospitals, the mortuary, and the local prison have yielded no results.

Police have appealed to anyone with information regarding Mngemezulu’s whereabouts to come forward.
