Cambridge FC faced Springs Shepherds FC at the Jim Fouché Stadium in Nigel on November 22.
During the first half, Cambridge player Minahle ‘Mini Cooper’ Dineka scored the first goal of the game.
“The boys played well throughout the first half,” said chairperson Ignatius Maphike.
“They kept the ball in their possession and managed another goal soon after the first.”
The first half of the match ended with the Cambridge team leading 2-0.
During the second half, the Cambridge team scored four more goals.
The final goal was scored by Augustin Leonard, who took a penalty shot for his team.
“The fans who came out to support our team were not disappointed,” Maphike said.
Cambridge FC has won all five of their games so far this season.
