School athletes give their all at Greater Heidelberg
The athletes want to qualify for the Sedibeng D7 team.
The Greater Heidelberg Athletics Championships were held on February 4 at Volkskool’s athletic fields.
The championships is for all school athletes in the Heidelberg area aiming to qualify for the Sedibeng D7 athletics team.
Some of the schools that participated were Heidelberg Academy, Ratanda Secondary School, Mountainview High School, Kgoro ya Thuto, Khanya Lesedi School of Specialisation and Volkskool.
Through determination and hard work, the athletes showed their mettle.
The next stop is the Interschool Championships, then Sedibeng D7 and various other meetings.
