East Rand United opens call for new players ahead of 2026 season
As preparations for the 2026 season gain momentum, East Rand United is inviting players aged 20 and above to join the club, with regular training under way at Reiger Park Sportsgrounds and a renewed push for community support.
East Rand United (ERU) is calling on new players to join the club as preparations for the 2026 season gather momentum.
Training takes place every Tuesday and Thursday from 18:00 to 20:00 at the Reiger Park Sportsgrounds, better known to locals as The Graveyard.
ERU is welcoming players aged 20 and older, eager to grow its squad and strengthen its campaign for the upcoming season.
Sean Wingson from ERU said the team is ready to hit the ground running.
“We are 100% ready for this season. We have received donations, which have helped a lot, but we are still looking for a main sponsor. We will welcome any help from the community,” said Wingson.
