Mixed results as Tini Vorster dominate first team in Rugby League fixtures at Hannes Visagie Sports Field
Rugby League action at Hannes Visagie Sports Field on April 23 delivered a day of mixed fortunes, with Tini Vorster claiming a dominant first team victory while other age-group matches produced closely contested results, including a thrilling one-point U10 encounter.
Rugby League action took place on April 23 at the Hannes Visagie Sports Field, where Hannes Visagie hosted Tini Vorster in a series of age-group and senior fixtures that produced a mixed bag of results.
The day featured competitive encounters from the U9 level through to the first team, with both sides enjoying moments of success in tightly contested matches.

Tini Vorster got off to a strong start in the U9 fixture, securing a 21–14 win over Hannes Visagie. However, the home side responded in the U10 clash, edging out a thrilling contest 35–34 in one of the closest matches of the day.
Honours were shared in the U11 encounter, which ended in a 7–7 draw after a balanced performance from both teams. Tini Vorster then regained momentum in the U12 (second team) fixture, recording a solid 27–12 victory.

The standout result came in the first team match, where Tini Vorster delivered a commanding performance to defeat Hannes Visagie 42–7, asserting their dominance in the senior division.
