Heidelberg Bowling Club produced a commanding performance to secure victory in the inaugural four-club Super 14 tournament, hosted at the Heidelberg Bowling Club on June 13.

The battle for top honours remained closely contested through the opening rounds.

At one stage, just 3.5 points separated the leading clubs, underlining the tournament’s competitive nature.

However, Heidelberg capitalised on home-ground advantage and delivered a strong finish to pull clear of the chasing pack.

Heidelberg ended the tournament on 62 points to secure the title, with Delmas finishing second on 54.5 points.

Meyerton claimed third place with 33 points, while Deneysville completed the standings on 30.5 points.
The event also marked a significant milestone in the Super 14’s growth.
