Ext 7 community meeting regarding electricity

The contractor is eager to complete phase one of the project in order to commence with phase two, however, it is imperative for the contractor to commission and test electrical apparatus before it commences with next phase.

Msukaligwa Municipality recently appointed a company to electrify RDP houses in Extension 7 in Wesselton.

The contractor has to date electrified 75 houses of the 100 and there are 25 houses outstanding for phase one due to the unavailability of the owners of the properties during the installation.

The contractor is eager to complete phase one in order to begin phase two, however it is imperative for the contractor to commission and test electrical apparatus before it

commences with the next phase.

Therefore Msukaligwa invites owners of the RDP houses in Ext 7 to a community meeting on Sunday, 2 September at the first RDP house in Ext 7 at 8am.

The municipality also invites the owners of the properties to visit the municipality to open a consumer account, among others, to activate the electricity card in order for them to buy electricity thereafter.
