Chief Albert Luthuli Municipality employees enjoy wellness programme in Badplaas

The purpose of the day was to uplift, motivate and encourage staff members, but most importantly to let them know that they are not alone in their day-to-day operations in delivering municipal services to communities in an efficient and effective manner.

The Chief Albert Luthuli Local Municipality’s employees took part in an Employee Wellness Programme at the Forever Resorts in Badplaas on Friday, 23 November.

The purpose of the day was to uplift, motivate and encourage staff members, but most importantly to let them know that they are not alone in their day-to-day operations in delivering municipal services to communities in an efficient and effective manner.

The activities on the day were followed by a fun-filled wellness programme where the political principals and officials competed in various sporting codes which included soccer, netball, volleyball and tug-of-war.

Indigenous games such as morabaraba and inqgathu were also part of the programme to the delight of the officials.

Officials also donated blood at the SANBS bus on the grounds and a total of eight units of blood were donated.
