PROUD KEMPTON RESIDENT writes:
Once again we woke up on Saturday (October 14) with the whole of De Wiekus and Duvenhage Streets covered with hundreds of property ads from one company on the pavements. On the pavement of our property there were again five signs.
On weekends we no longer see spring arriving, instead, we are greeted with this barrage of advertising flooding the whole neighbourhood.
It is an eyesore in the community and it spoils your day.
A big thank you to the other property agencies for not taking part in this madness.
Jean-Pierre Buys, principal of Team JP Estate Agents, replies:
I take note of the content of the letter to Kempton Express, being the first communication received in this regard.
As a successful and proud Kempton Park estate agency we affirm that we are active in marketing on all platforms for the benefit of our clients.
We are convinced that our clients deserve only the best and we endeavour to deliver just that.
One of the advertisement avenues we follow is advertising- and showhouse correx boards over weekends only, which is always removed in order not to litter our awesome city.
We pro-actively invest in Kempton Park and fund various sporting clubs, events, anti-drugs and charity organisations. We are there for you and just a phone call away.
