ALERT: Power outage not due to load shedding
These are the areas affected by the power outage.
Several Kempton Park suburbs are currently without power due to emergency repairs at the Kempton Park Substation.

According to City of Ekurhuleni spokesperson, Zweli Dlamini, the planned emergency power outage was scheduled from 08:00 this morning until 13:00 this afternoon.
“The power outage is due to the emergency work at the Kempton Park Substation to prevent further damage to the existing equipment following sporadic power interruptions in the area.”
Areas affected include:
• Aston Manor
• Bonaero Park
• Nimrod Park
• Glen Marais Extension 41
• Maple Road
• Elgin Road
• Deodar Road
• Main Road
• West Road
• Pomona Road, Ext 66, Ext 88
• Kempton Park Ext 2, Ext 4
• Sim Road
• Koppie Road
• Tugela East, West and surrounding areas.
