EMPD arrest driver after passenger flung from moving vehicle
It is believed the vehicle occupants, one man and two women, had an argument before one of the women jumped from the moving car.
One man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a woman jumped from his moving vehicle on April 20.

According to EMPD communications officer, Marie Mashishi, the EMPD officer arrived on the scene and found a red Mazda sedan stopped along the road.
It is believed the vehicle occupants, one man and two women, had an argument before one of the women jumped from the moving car.
“She was then taken to Tembisa Hospital by ambulance as she had sustained slight injuries.
“A male driver was confirmed drunk and was arrested immediately.
“He was detained at Kempton Park Police Station and charged with driving while under the influence of illegal substances,” said Mashishi.

He will appear in Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court soon.
