Cantare Jubiloso Choir presents it latest production at Kaleideo

Cantare Jubiloso Choir will present HORIZONS, their latest annual choral concert production, on September 2 at 6pm at Kaleideo Church on Fiskaal Street, Glen Marais.

Join them in a programme of both sacred and secular music pushing the horizons of both choir and audience.

You can look forward to, among others, Albert Malotte’s arrangement of The Lord’s Prayer; a movement from Johannes Brahms’ German Requiem; a wonderful new arrangement of Laurike Rauch’s Hot Gates and foot stomping medleys from various Broadway hit shows, including Joseph and his amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and Phantom of the Opera.

Their main work on the programme is Peter Louis van Dijk’s Horizons, arranged by him for double choir depicting the well-documented San (bushman) painting of a Dutch (or, perhaps English) ship, resplendent with flags and sails, rounding the Cape.

Come and enjoy this musical experience as well as some welcoming refreshments. Tickets are R110 a person and are available from Computicket.
