Model aircraft show at Barnstormers

MODEL aircraft enthusiasts are expected to flock to the annual Heinie Warbird Day on Sunday, September 13, at Barnstormers Model Flying Club on Bapsfontein Road.

The show, now in its eighth year, will run from 10.30am until 4pm.A model aircraft is a small unmanned aircraft or, in the case of a scale model, a replica of an existing or imaginary aircraft.

The event organiser, Heinrich Keyser, said show-goers could look forward to seeing a variety of aircrafts, including war planes and modern jets.A R20 entrance fee per car will be levied.
