Report back on developments in Modder Reserve
NEW toilets, vicious attacks on Eucalyptus trees by bugs and beetles, impacts of human activities and control of alien and invasive vegetation are all included in the many and varied management operations taking place in the Modderfontein Reserve.
These and other developments will be outlined by Boaz Tsebe of the Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT), who manages the reserve, who will be the guest speaker at the August Modderfontein Conservation Society evening meeting.
As manager of the reserve, he will report back on progress made in the past year. The meeting will take place in Modderfontein Town Hall on August 18 at 7.30pm.
Visitors are welcome. An entrance fee of R30 is charged to help cover expenses. For more information, call Robbie Vermont on 011-608-2693 or 082-800-3704.
