Village opens its gardens to visitors
AN oasis of calm awaits visitors to Inyoni Creek Retirement Village on February 4 and 5, when the owners of 11 lovingly-tended cottage and apartment gardens open their grounds to members of the public as part of the Gardens of the Golden City initiative.
The Rand Aid retirement village is a haven of indigenous trees, shrubs, succulents and colourful mass plantings.
On entry, a detailed map of the individual gardens with be provided and guests will be able to enjoy a tea garden at the village.
Gardens are open from 10am to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday.
