Macro and micro business risks looked at

The chamber's next function will be on May 22

CHALLENGES such as strikes, load shedding and e-tolls reinforce the statement that starting and running a business in South Africa is not for the faint-hearted.

Speaking at Kempton Park Business Chamber’s (KPBC) and Business Partners recent function at Casa Caritas, Tarren Botha from Business Partners addressed macro and micro risks for local business, the effect on SMEs, financing options for SMEs as well as Business Partners Offering.

She said there were many financiers in the market place and entrepreneurs needed to understand their criteria.

Their explained terms and conditions, own funding, security, being in business for some time, exceptions or no-go areas, financing structures available and the pricing involved with a business loan.

The chamber’s next function will be on May 22. The venue and cost will be announced.

This very practical workshop, called “Five ways to increase your business profits”, will be presented by an executive and business coach and is one of Action COACH’s signature programmes.

It will show business owners how to leverage their marketing and sales for massive growth, increase their sales to existing customers and will focus on cost saving opportunities.

The workshop attendees will walk out of the workshop with their own five-way plan and a clear understanding of at least 20 strategies they can go and implement immediately when getting back to their business.
