Sangoma bracelet and clothing found lying next to dead man

A dead man was found in an open field near Clayville, Extension 45, on July 21.

According to the Tembisa SAPS spokesperson, Constable Tebogo Sesing, the police were called to the scene by a resident who found the body.

“The officers searched the body and found a bottle of Coke with an unknown substance inside. He was wearing black trousers, a green jacket and a sangoma bracelet on his foot. The officers also found sangoma clothing lying on the ground next to the victim,” Const Sesing told The Tembisan.

The officers tried to identify the man but were unsuccessful.

“We are appealing to residents who may know the deceased to come forward and identify him. We are also asking for someone who knows what happened to come forward,” he said.

“The identification of the informant will not be revealed. Let us work together to fight crime in our area,” said Const Sesing.
