ONE person was killed and 10 others injured in two accidents on Saturday.

A man in his 40s was killed in a single-vehicle collision on the R21 just before Voortrekker Road on Saturday morning.

Luyanda Majija, ER24 spokesman, said paramedics arrived on the scene and discovered that the man had been ejected from the vehicle and was deceased. The wrecked vehicle was lying on its roof against a roadside barrier.

Majija said the deceased man was travelling with three adults, who sustained moderate injuries. They were transported to hospital.
