You saw it first, you tell it first

Do you have a story to tell?

The Tembisan will soon launch a page dedicated to your stories submitted to the newsroom for publication.

You don’t have to be a journalist – only a Tembisa resident with a story to share.

This is what we need from you, our community journalists:

  •  A photo to help you tell the story better. Remember, as photographers would say; “A photo can speak a thousand words”.r Who was involved in the story and remember to include first names, surnames and age.
  •  When did it happen and where. If possible, include the physical address.
  •  Tell us what and how it happened, in your own words. This is where you have the freedom to explore your journalistic skills. If applicable, approach every story objectively and ensure all sides of the stories are told.

We will edit the story and publish it in the #TembisanMyTembisa section of the newspaper.

We invite all Tembisans to grab this opportunity and share your untold stories with us and our readers.

This is your Tembisa – nobody knows it like you do. Tell your story and be heard.

Before sending your story, include a short description about yourself – the writer of the story.

Join the conversation on Twitter by following @TheTembisan and share your stories with friends using #TembisaMyTembisan
