SIXTY-FIVE speakers and USBs worth R50 000 were stolen at a shop in the central business district on Sunday.
According to Kempton Park SAPS spokesman, Capt Jethro Mtshali, the break-in occurred at about 4am on Park Street.
“According to Smart Security the suspects gained entrance to the business by breaking through the door of the company.
“A security guard who was on duty at the shopping centre said he heard a noise coming from one of the shops and activated the alarm, which Smart Security responded to within minutes.
Later two suspects, aged 26 and 28, were found hiding around the centre and arrested on the spot.
They have been charged with business burglary and police investigations are underway.
