ActionSA leads in several Thembisa wards as IEC results await declaration

All votes have been counted in the wards listed, but the IEC has not yet officially declared the results.

With 94% of the votes counted across the City of Ekurhuleni, preliminary results show ActionSA leading in several Thembisa wards following the November 4 Local Government Elections.

Although all votes have been counted in the wards listed below, the results have not yet been officially declared by the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC).

The latest figures indicate a closely contested election in several parts of Thembisa, with the African National Congress (ANC), ActionSA and the Democratic Alliance (DA) among the parties whose candidates have secured the highest number of ward ballot votes.
