Family of four injured in R21 accident

One of the passengers of the bakkie suffered a broken collar bone

A family of four, two men and two women, were among the eight people injured in a three-car accident on the R21 north on Wednesday.

The other four people injured were flung from the back of the GWM double-cab when it overturned at 1pm just after the Olifantsfontein off-ramp.

It is unknown why the bakkie overturned but two other vehicles, were also involved in the accident. One of the vehicles was a Hyundai H100, and the other one is unknown. No-one in these vehicles was injured

The injured people were taken to Tembisa Hospital.
