A Ugandan nanny, who was caught on video abusing an 18-month-old toddler, has pleaded guilty to torture and will be sentenced today.

The 22-year-old maid, Jolly Tumuhiirwe, faces up to 15 years in prison for the crime.
The child’s worried parents installed a CCTV camera in the house to record the nanny when they were at work. They were shocked seeing what they had filmed.
The little girl was pushed to the ground after which she kicked the child’s face and stomach before putting her entire weight on the girl’s back, and then dragged her out the room, apparently unconscious. The baby was left bruised and shaken by the abuse.
