No load shedding expected this morning: Your schedule for Monday, February 9

The power utility spent the weekend working on having 'a better start' to the week.

Eskom has said it is not anticipating any load shedding on Monday morning.

According to its spokesman, Khulu Phasiwe, the power utility spent the weekend working on having “a better start” to the week.

“We do have some of our generators back online which has helped us stabilise the system. We’ll be able to go through the day until about midday. We are looking relatively better than we did last week.” said Phasiwe.

Kempton Park’s load shedding schedule for Monday, February 9, is:

7.30am to 10.30am: Ripple control (geysers are switched off).

10am to 1pm: Birch Acres, Terenure, Edleen, Van Riebeeck Park, Kempton West

12.30pm to 3.30pm: Bredell, Pomona, Glen Marais Extensions (49, 52, 89 & 98), Serengeti, Brentwood Park, Aston Manor, Nimrod Park, Parts of Kempton Park Ext 2 & Ext 4

3pm to 6pm: Kempton Park CBD, Kempton Part Extensions, Croydon, Cresslawn, Rhodesfield, Kelvin Estate and Esther Park

5.30pm to 8.30pm: Ripple control (geysers are switched off)

8pm to 10pm: Birchleigh, Birchleigh North, Glen Erasmia, Kaalfontein, Esselen Park and Esselen Park Extensions
