Heritage Run to bring fitness, culture and unity to Norkem Park

Heritage run to be held, raising funds for CPF initiatives and support community projects in Wards 15 and 104.

Residents are invited to gather their family, friends, schools, churches, sports clubs, cycling groups, businesses, car clubs and community organisations for a day of fitness, culture, unity and fun at the 8km Heritage Run.

The event will offer participants the opportunity to enjoy heritage foods, support local businesses and craft stalls, and celebrate South Africa’s rich cultural diversity.

The event will take place on September 24 at Christoffel Park, situated in Norkem Park.

To ensure the event is a success, organisers are appealing for sponsors and donations of the following:
• Water
• Medals
• T-shirts
• Snacks and fruit
• Lucky draw prizes
• Stage equipment
• Portable toilets
• Start and finish arch
• Food supplies
• First aid support
• Sound equipment and general event support

Funds raised through the event will help strengthen Community Policing Forum (CPF) initiatives and support community projects in Wards 15 and 104.
