Record Easter Egg Drive for Norkem Primary

A total of 30 613 eggs were collected

NORKEM Park Primary School has completed its annual Easter egg drive where the learners donated marshmallow Easter eggs to the school.

A total of 30 613 eggs were collected – the biggest number ever.

The eggs are packaged and distributed to underprivileged children and the elderly to give them a special Easter surprise.

Two learners collected the most eggs, Riley Apollos came first with 2 688 eggs, with Gift Majola collecting 1 265 eggs.

The school will donate the eggs to Child Welfare Kempton Park, Casa Caritas, Kids Haven, Little Eden, Marmanet Retirement Village, Stepping Stones Pre-School, Meals on Wheels Pretoria, Meals on Wheels Benoni, Avril Elizabeth Home, John Wesley Child Care Centre, Herfsland Old Age Home, Herfsland Outreach Project, Pinocchio Educare Centre, Oliver’s House, Rynpark 1, Allen Park, Epworth Children’s Village and San Michel.
