A father with his three children in the car with him, was arrested for alleged drunk driving during a police road block on the P91 on Thursday morning.
The driver of the car was pulled over by a police officer to search his car when the driver decided to drive off.
Another officer stood in front of the car and the man stopped.

The driver had his three children, aged between two and five, in the car with him, as well as two friends, who were arrested for drinking in public.
Spokesman for Sebenza SAPS, Const Sharon Tsotsotso, said the men were on their way from Alexandra to Klipfontein and that they admitted they had been drinking since early on Thursday morning.
“He left his wife at home and took the children with him to go visit his brother in Klipfontein.”
Sebenza SAPS arranged for the children to be fetched by their mother.
