Man dies after machine amputates his arm
The accident happened at a premises in Elandsfontein
A man believed to be 30 years old died after his arm was amputated while using a machine earlier on Friday.
It is understood the man was working on a machine at a business premises in Elandsfontein in Germiston, when his arm was caught in the machine, Chitra Bodasing, ER24 spokesman, said.

When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene, they found the man lying next to the machine.
It was found he sustained severe injuries and blood loss after his left arm was amputated. He was treated and transported to the closest medical facility.
Unfortunately, despite all efforts, the man succumbed to his injuries.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
