Disabled children receive blankets

Mr Solly Khuthama, the centre manager of the Tumelo Home, could not contain his excitement when he received a donation of blankets on Friday last week.

The Kyalami Rotary Club made the donation to the home.

“These blankets will keep our children warm, especially during the winter period,” said Mr Khuthama.

Rotary has already identified several opportunities to assist the Tumelo Home.

The home is based in Ivory Park and houses children who suffer from mental and physical disabilities.

It has 32 children registered at the home, with 300 children on a waiting list.
