A soccer coach was found guilty on eight counts of rape in the Palm Ridge High Court on October 20.
Captain Manyadza Rhalidzhivha said Prince Masilu Moyaha (27) was found guilty of raping seven boys who he was coaching in 2012 and 2013.
“He was coaching at a club and a school. He also exposed the children to pornographic material,” said Capt Rhalidzhivha.
Moyaha will be sentenced on November 30.
This is the second incident reported by The Tembisan of a soccer coach responsible for the sexual abuse of children.
In July, the Tembisan reported on a soccer coach who was accused of raping a nine-year-old boy in Phomolong.
It was reported the coach had requested the boy sleep over at his house and the child’s parents agreed.
“The coach took the boy to his house where he raped him. The following morning the boy’s parents noticed he was walking strangely and when they inquired the boy told his parents about the rape,” Capt Rhalidzhivha said.
