A man will be charged with murder after killing his friend with a brick following a fight over money on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened on the corner of Voortrekker and Monument roads around 2pm.

“I was on my way to work when I passed the two men who were involved in an argument. The one man lifted his hand and struck the other on the head twice with a brick,” said Inspector Van Niekerk from the metro police department.
The alleged killer ran away but Van Niekerk chased after him and arrested him.
The names of the victim and suspect are not yet available and further investigations will be handled by the pathology department and Kempton Park SAPS.
