
Three firearms, one empty magazine and 113 live rounds were discovered at a house in Difateng Section, Tembisa.
The Tembisa SAPS communications officer, Constable Patricia Mgijima, said the Naledi SAPS received a tip-off that there were firearms in the house.
“On arrival on October 22, the SAPS asked to search the man’s house and officers made the discovery,” said Const Mgijima.
A case of possession of unlicensed firearms was opened.
The 44-year-old suspect will appear before the Magistrate’s Court soon.
