A truck which was hijacked in Kempton Park on Tuesday had been recovered and five suspects arrested.
According to the SA Police Service’s Facebook page the driver reported the incident at Putfontein Police Station after the hijacking at about 4pm.
Putfontein SAPS’ station commander, Col Khumbulani Mbatha, personally sprang into action. He was supported by the Benoni Cluster Task Team.
Not only was the truck recovered and the suspects apprehended but a car suspected to have been stolen and an unlicensed firearm were also found.
