
A 22-year-old man appeared in the Palm Ridge Court on a charge of murder on October 26.
The man is accused of murdering his brother in Teanong Section, Tembisa.
“It is believed the deceased went to the suspect’s room during the night of November 1. He demanded money from him. His younger brother told him he had no have money.
“The deceased started to assault him. The suspect took a sharp object and stabbed his 32-year-old brother in the upper body,” said Captain Manyadza Ralidzhivha.
The suspect then fled the scene.
“The victim managed to wake up another family member and informed that person he had been stabbed by his brother. He died before he could be transported to hospital. The SAPS launched a manhunt and the man was arrested soon afterwards,” said Captain Ralidzhivha.
