Still no sign of missing grandmother’s body

The victim's son and his girlfriend are currently in police custody

POLICE are still searching for the Kempton Park grandmother who was reported missing on Thursday.

Anna Dorothea Wilhelmine Stassen allegedly went missing on Wednesday morning but police were only alerted on Thursday after family and friends could not trace the pensioner’s whereabouts.

A manhunt was then launched by police.

Since then, Stassen’s 43-year-old son and his girlfriend confessed to killing her on Monday and dumping the 78-year-old’s body in Mpumalanga.

Police have been searching for the woman’ body since Friday but have been struggling to find it because the two can’t remember where they have dumped her.
