Murdered grandmother to be buried next week

Stassen's body was found in Bronkhorstspruit on Sunday

MURDERED Annatjie Stassen (78) will be buried from the NG Church Kempton-Kruin at 11am on Tuesday.

Her son, Gideon Stassen (43), and his girlfriend, Chantelle Justine Minnott (31), who stand accused of killing her, will again appear in Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court the following day.

Their case was again remanded on Wednesday to give them time to find legal representation. They are both in custody.

Stassen’s body was found in Bronkhorstspruit on Sunday, almost five days after she had been reported missing by family and friends.

Her son earlier allegedly confessed to killing his mother in their Spekboom Street home on Monday, November 16, two days before she was reported missing.
