“Mr Fivaz owned an agricultural holding property in a fast developing commercial part of the Pomona area in ward 23. He supplied milk and other dairy products to the communities in the surrounding areas. He also had small shop on his property,” Du Plessis said.

“During our visit we were informed by his helper there was nothing identified as stolen from the house during the attack.

“We would like to extend our sincere condolences to his family and all those that are affected by this ruthless killing. Mr Fivaz was loved in this community for his generosity. We lost a very honourable person and a supporter of the community,” Du Plessis added.

“After obtaining the case number I will forward it to the highest authority possible, even if it has to go to parliament, to ensure that a thorough investigation is done to bring these perpetrators to book.”
